Unconventional sensuality was at the forefront of Amaya Arzuaga’s SS12 collection at Paris Fashion Week. The collection strove to achieve structure from fragile shapes- mesh and thin silks baring the body in unexpected ways, from plunge swimwear shapes to clinched-in waists on a pleat dress. Silk and linen blends and transparent gazar followed sharp lines of V and square shapes to reveal panels of bare skin, on a dolly mixture palette of lemon yellow, baby blush pink and washed out aqua.
